Halloween can be a spooky time of year for kids and adults.  Sometimes it's hard to find fun events that aren't extremely terrifying, but there's one you might love in Illinois!

I've never been a huge fan of haunted houses, haunted corn mazes, or anything involves me running away screaming for my life.  I wish there were more of these spooky kid-friendly events when I was a kid!

All aboard the friendly hayrides over at Northern Illinois Fear Fest!

On October 20th from 3-5pm, you can hop on a kid-friendly hayride at the Northern Illinois Fear Fest.  Trust me, there are so scares and no actors.

It'll be daylight when you're on the hayride so no worries on getting scared!
