Rockford is SO haunted, and local historian Kathi Kresol has been keeping track of these spooky stories for years as Haunted Rockford.

Whether you've lived in Rockford you're entire life or you've recently moved here, you've heard this city is Haunted.

From the Coronado to the Rock River, there's a story about every haunted location and for the most part you can hear from stories from Kathi Kresol of Haunted Rockford.

Kathi and her cohorts research these stories and bring them to life in books, live chats and on their website.

And lucky me, she visits Good Day Stateline every October to share one of her favorite spooks.

This week she told us all about the unmarked grave at Cedar Bluff cemetery. It's haunted, but not by the soul that was buried there, but instead by the wife of the man who is buried there.

She's got a point? She might as well spend her afterlife haunting her husband's gravesite... he killed her and spread lies about her!

Every story does have two sides, but I think I'm on hers.
