Why not take a selfie? We've been pretty much hanging by ourselves so I'm sure you got plenty already on your phone.

Did you know there's one place that is actually the best spot for selfies in Illinois?

While it's not in Rockford, I'd say Anderson Japanese Gardens would be the best location, Cheapism says it's in Chicago.

According to their list of Amazing Places to Take a Selfie in All 50 States, they say the supreme selfie spot is in Chicago at Cloud Gate.

Colloquially known as "the Bean," the sculpture in Millennium Park is a quintessential selfie location. With its giant, curved, mirrored surface, Cloud Gate reflects and distorts the figures in front of it.

If you're looking for proof, just search #thebean on Instagram to see that Cheapism isn't wrong. There's a ton of selfies in front of The Bean taken and uploaded even now, in the dead of winter, and in the middle of a pandemic.
