June is officially Pride Month in Rockford and there are plenty of ways you can celebrate in the Stateline.

Last Tuesday, May 28, Mayor McNamara officially titled June 'LGBTQ Pride Month' right here in Rockford for the first time ever, and there are plenty of ways you can support the cause and join the celebration.

Over the weekend, The Office kicked off Pride with an alley party, art show and drag show. But don't be too sad if you missed it, June is 30 days long.

Speaking of The Office, they have a bunch of Pride events this month including Noche Latina, Pride Prom, Drag King Pride Show and Miss Office Niteclub 20019.

While The Office might have the longest list of Pride events, they are not alone in celebrating this month.

Rockford Art Deli is selling their 'Love is RAD,' shirt and donating $5 of each shirt sold this month to Rockford's chapter of PFLAG.

Beef-a-roo is selling rainbow cake all month, with a portion of each cake purchase also going to PFLAG.

Fleet Feet is selling Pride sunglasses, and Octane, Prairie Street and The Norwegian all have Pride specials, according to Go Rockford.

As more events get announced, Go Rockford will add to their list.
