Every fall, the Rockford area has a few pumpkin patches everyone seems to frequent. So I asked Google which one of those was actually the highest-rated, and the answer kind of surprised me.

Mostly because my family has been going there for years. It's Thyme and Again Farm.

Rockford Area's Highest-Rated Pumpkin Patch

To me, it's the Rockford area's best-kept secret when it comes to pumpkin patches. So under-the-radar that I kind of forgot that they even had pumpkins, but it's always the best option for the family when we're trying to get our fall and Halloween season on at our place without a major hassle.

Thyme and Again Farm is rated a 4.9 on Google, and if you've never been, it earns its near-perfect rating.

A Low-Key Alternative to Crowded Pumpkin Patches

If you think going to the pumpkin patch is something you need to gear up for, a trip to Thyme and Again is the opposite in the very best way possible. It's a low-key, much more relaxed spot than other giant, festival-style pumpkin patches.

Reviews support that, too, with owners praised for being friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Thyme and Again also offers more than just pumpkins, including apples, gourds, squash, seasonal produce, and honey.

Don't Wait Too Long to Visit Thyme and Again Farm

If dealing with large crowds and an all-day production isn't your bag, Thyme and Again is probably your spot. The only thing: Thyme and Again rarely makes it through the whole season because they run out of pumpkins. Last year, they closed up on October 14.

Just saying it could happen again, and if so, you have just a little over a week to check the place out. Thyme and Again Farm is at 10944 IL-2.
