No Frills Hole-in-the-Wall Apparently Makes Illinois’ Best Burgers

Who would've thought a place that I've never heard of until today would be called the best place for a burger in all of Illinois?

I mean, I'm not the authority on where the best burgers are but I feel (at least until today) I have a good handle on where to go in the Land of Lincoln for good eats.

I stand (or sit) in front of you today humbled and a little bit excited to try this burger simply because I've never heard of it before and now I have to eat it.

If you're intrigued like me, you won't have to drive too far to try these burgers because the place is located in Chicago and it's called That's A Burger.

Not the world's greatest name but hey, at least you know what you're getting.

24/7 Wall Street said That's a Burger is the best burger joint in the entire state.

Some purists may turn their noses up at the thought of a turkey burger but That’s a Burger on Chicago’s South Side would like you to put your disdain to the test, as such a burger is one of their specialties. The restaurant, in fact, offers a range of turkey, beef, veggie, salmon, and chicken burgers in a no-frills atmosphere.

I ran across a review on Yelp regarding That's a Burger:

I believe they can accomplish good food and services. They first have to go back to cooking burgers turkey & beef burgers like the original owners (Alice and husband) did. The new owner is trying to make things better, but the original recipe is what grew the customers.
