At first, I was like, "Of course the best chicken sandwich in Illinois is going to be found in Chicago because these kinds of lists always forget about cities like Rockford."

But then, I went to the Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken Instagram and knew I immediately had to have it in my life.

Then, when I noticed Eat This Not That! calling it Illinois' Best Chicken Sandwich while heaping all sorts of praise on Do-Rite's chicken sandwiches I understood why. Just look at this thing:
