Lunch seems to be the meal that gets the least amount of love, am I right?

People everywhere today will just eat a sandwich and call it a day.

A lot of times, people don't even care where the sandwich comes from, just as long as they get lunch in, and move on to whatever's next.

Maybe we feel so kinda meh towards lunch because we aren't getting our sandwiches from the best sandwich joint in Illinois.

Now if you're reading this in the 815, you probably won't make it to this place during your lunch break but from the sound (and look) of things, you may just have to make a special trip just to give some of these eats a try.

The small but perfectly formed menu draws in customers with an ever-changing line-up of sandwiches. If on the menu, the Parm #2 is a top choice, with fried sage in a brioche bun, but you won't go wrong with Parm 3.0 (on the menu now) either. A juicy fried chicken thigh is piled high with marinara sauce, basil, and mozzarella on a sesame roll.

LoveFood isn't kidding around either, Katie T. on Yelp called the Parm #2 as "mind-blowingly good."

Another Yelper, Arthur M. said "Get the chicken parm. Everything else is amazing too, it's just... Chicken Parm Is The Thing You Cannot Not Get."

Sometimes though food can get overhyped. Dontina W. said "I got the chicken parm ordered through delivery here twice and both times it was just OK. Nothing special for the price and all of the talk. I probably wouldn't go here again."
