Illinois Ladies are Building Houses Tomorrow and You’re Invited
Have you ever built a house before? Do you want to? Well tomorrow is your chance!
There are some people out there who are just extra incredible. They just take your mind off of whatever is stressing you and calm you down, plus they tend to convince you to do stuff.
Not saying that Keri from the Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity convinced me to sign up to build houses, she didn't, but when she mentioned it to me a few months ago I just said yes without even thinking... can I do this?
She promises me that I can, and you can too.
If you happen to be free tomorrow, Friday June 3, from about 8:30 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon, you can come too!
The Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity Women Build is tomorrow and I'm really excited to see how I can be a part of such an incredible organization.
You know these houses are for families in need and this year the organization plans to build six houses by the end of the season.
Speaking of seasons... we just reached perfect temps for this build, right now we're looking at a high of 76 and sunny tomorrow, which makes me even more excited to spend the day outside.
All you need to do to participate is sign up and bring some closed toed shoes and some extra water, everything else is accounted for.
Producer MJ got to do this last year and I'm so excited to follow in her footsteps!
