On November 21, 2006, the vibrant life of Jesse Ross, a sophomore communications major at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, took an inexplicable turn.

Last seen at approximately 2:30 a.m. after a Model United Nations meeting at the Sheraton Hotel in Chicago, Ross’s sudden disappearance left family and friends in a state of enduring uncertainty.

On November 21st, 2006, surveillance footage saw Ross leaving the hotel after his meeting, appearing sober and composed, back to his hotel room that was just a ten-minute walk.

According to authorities, there was no indication that anything was out of the ordinary. Since that meeting, there has been no trace of him—no activity on his phone or credit cards, leaving loved ones still searching for answers.

Ross had red hair, blue eyes, and a freckled complexion.  He also wore distinctive dark wire-framed eyeglasses. Today, he would be 37 years old.
