11 Illinois Joints Among America’s Top Spots for Mother’s Day Brunch

Mother's Day is right around the corner and so is brunch. Is it just me, or is Mother's Day and even a bit of Easter considered prime time for brunch?

It's funny because I wouldn't mind a brunch in the fall or even winter, but springtime is when it really becomes a thing. I guess we're in luck too because some of the finest brunch spots in America just so happen to be in Illinois.

OpenTable Names the 100 Best Brunch Restaurants in the U.S.

To determine which brunch spots stand out from the rest, OpenTable analyzed diner reviews and demand metrics to identify the "perfect brunch restaurants for Mother's Day across the country."

Out of the Top 100 Brunch Restaurants profiled by OpenTable, 11 are in Illinois, with 10 in Chicago and one in the suburbs. You truly can't go wrong when considering that these restaurants have, at the very worst, a 4.7-star rating from OpenTable reviewers.

Girl & the Goat Gets Snubbed, But LA Makes the Cut?

Shockingly, not a single Wisconsin restaurant made the cut. You'd have to think at least one would. I was also a bit surprised to see Girl & the Goat left off for best brunch. Especially when you consider Girl & the Goat in Los Angeles was included among the top 100.
