Illinois’ Newest Social Media Selfie Museum Announces Grand Opening
Grab your phone and your favorite selfie friend, The Content Factory opens in just a few weeks.
There's something so fun about visiting somewhere just to take photos. You get to pick the exact right outfit, do your hair and your make-up, maybe even practice your selfie skills when you're waiting to leave your house... then you show up and it's picture time!
Places like this always have the best lighting, the boldest colors and the coolest backdrops.
The problem for those of us who live in Rockford, most of these places are an hour or so away.
Until now. Well until Friday, December 3.
What's coming? The Content Factory.
The Content Factory is at 6125 N. 2nd Street in Loves Park, and officially opens to the public on Friday, December 3.
The owners, Ricky and Joyce say:
The Content Factory takes selfies to an entirely new level of awesomeness. As the first and only local social media selfie museum. We provide the backdrop, and friendly content space, all you have to do is bring your phone 📱 for a creative adventure like you never experienced before.

I know what you're wondering... when are they open? And how much does it cost? Well I have those answers for you, too.
The museum will be open Monday thru Friday from 3pm until 9pm and on Saturday and Sundays from 3pm until 11pm.
General admission is $25 and kids under two are $15 each. If you bring a current student ID, you'll get a $5 discount.
