Illinois Residents Testing For Coronavirus Will Be 100% Covered

It's almost impossible to turn on the news or scroll through social media and not be inundated with Coronavirys (COVID-19) news. From how to prevent it, to new people finding out they have it, there's a new story every minute.

Here's a little bit of good news to set your mind at ease. Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare all announced they will waive the cost associated with testing for Coronavirus for those who are insured by them according to the Kane County Chronicle.

As more stories come out about the spreading of the virus, this at the very least provides some relief knowing that if you think you've come in contact with someone, you can at least get tested to be positive you are virus free.

Currently, 2 researchers at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville have discovered a chemical compound that could be the cure and prevent it from spreading according to Fox 32.

There's still more testing that needs to be done to find out if it is safe and effective. Hopefully the compound works and as people get tested, they can start treatment immediately to prevent the spread.
