Illinois Sheriff’s Deputy Buying Homeless Man Lunch Goes Viral

This quick photo was taken inside a McDonald's in Morrison and has gone viral nationwide.

The pic shows a Whiteside County Sheriff's Deputy walking out of the restaurant minutes after dropping a homeless man off and giving him money for something to eat.

According to a Facebook post from Alex Fischbach:

The photo has been shared over 8,000 times from Fischbach's Facebook page.

If you recognize the name Alex Fischbach, he was one of a handful of local contestants that made it to Hollywood during last season's American Idol.
