You might expect popular baby names to be the same across the country, but this year there's a twist in Illinois. 

There are so many things parents-to-be have to prep for their new little one, but the baby's name might be the most important! Just think about it, would you even be the same person if your parents gave you a different name? You might have an entirely different persona, or maybe you'd end up with a different career. A name means a lot!

For the past ten years or so, popular baby names have stayed relatively consistent in the U.S., with girl names ending in 'A' taking the top spots, but this year, there is a big twist here in Illinois, and I'm here for it!

According to Betway, the hot list of baby girl names is based on Google searches of each name in each state and Illinois differs from the rest with the number 1 name.

When it comes to the boys names, we have some consistency with Liam and Oliver, but the rest of the list looks new to me.
