Illinois’ Top Summer Event is A Can’t Miss For Music Fans

I'm sure you've heard of Lolla before, right? It's in Chicago, and it's a four-day music festival.

Back in the day, Lolla was a summer festival that toured the entire United States. Nowadays, Chicago's Grant Park is home to the show, at least through the end of this year.

The show has gotten so big in Illinois, it's considered the top summer event in the entire state by TravelPulse.

When the sun comes out and the weather warms up each summer, there's no better American city to be in than the Windy City. The calendar is overflowing with fun things to do this season with the return of favorites like the Grant Park Music Festival, The Windy City Smokeout, Taste of Chicago and the city's beloved Greek festivals. .

You'd think a few other longtime Chicago events like Taste of Chicago would be considered Illinois' top event, but Lollapalooza has people coming from all over the globe just to come to the show.

Maybe the acts, the festival itself, or like Travel Pulse said, maybe it's simply because Chicago is a great summertime city is a reason why Lolla is just so popular.

Either way, Lollapalooza is truly a can't miss festival, and the same goes for 2021.

Headliners for this year are Foo Fighters, Tyler The Creator, Miley Cyrus, and Post Malone.
