If you find a $100 bill on your windshield, don't grab it. Authorities are warning drivers of a scam that's popping up all over the country.

I haven't heard of anything happening locally just yet, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't be on the look out for a crisp, new $100 bill that's been placed on your windshield.

Unsuspecting shoppers have been finding the money under their windshield wiper and when they get out to grab it, thieves are jumping into the car, in an attempt to steal it.

That's not the only scam that's been reported. USA Today has some helpful tips to ensure you avoid potentially dangerous situations this holiday season. Be careful.
