The best sports bar in the Land of Lincoln according to the experts at Gayot, is Sluggers in the Wrigleyville area of Chicago. What makes Sluggers one of the best? In the article, Gayot says "Located on Chicago's North Side, adjacent to Wrigley Field, Sluggers World Class Sports Bar & Grill is a favorite with locals thanks to indoor batting cages, an extensive game room and many TVs." So many times when we see these lists of the "best" whatever, the question is...did they get it right? When it comes to Sluggers being the best in Illinois, and one of the 10 best in the US, they got it right. I have been to Sluggers many times, you can't beat the location, the atmosphere, the batting cages, and yes, they even have a really solid bar food menu! Beware, Sluggers isn't the best place for families, but if you are with your friends it is a great spot before a Cubs game, during a Cubs game, after a Cubs game, and certainly during March Madness!
