Did you know some of the best home cookware is made right here in Minnesota?

If there's a home cook on your holiday list this year, you can give the gift of some high-quality home cookware, and you can buy local all at the same time. That's because once again this year, a Minnesota company has been recognized by a national magazine as having some of the best products in the country.

Forbes Magazine just released their 2023 Holiday Gift Guide 2023: The Best Cookware For Home Cooks, and Minnesota's own Clay Coyote just made the list again this year. In case the name doesn't ring a bell, Clay Coyote Gallery and Pottery is located at 22 First Ave NE, in Hutchinson, Minnesota, about an hour west of the Twin Cities.

They're not a new company, in fact, Clay Coyote has actually been around in the Gopher State for nearly 30 years. The website explains more about what makes them tick:

'When the Clay Coyote first began more than two decades ago, the vision was simple: create a space where people come to buy handmade, functional, and affordable pottery in central Minnesota,' their site says.

There's now a second generation running the business, and again this year, their Chef’s Line and Baking Line of cookware pottery is being shouted out by Forbes. Specifically, their Clay Coyote Flameware Grill Basket was the item just included on the Forbes holiday gift list this year:

The Clay Coyote Flameware Grill Basket does the hard work on the grill and looks stunning on the table. A great gift for your home cook who appreciates tabletop style as well. They craft the only handmade clay grill basket in the USA and it won't won't warp, flake, or rust; it's easy to clean, goes in the dishwasher, and can take the heat from all manner of grills, including the Green Egg.

The Flameware Grill Basket is just one of the over 40 pieces of handmade clay cookware the company produces and sells, and is available on their website HERE.

Shout-out to another great Minnesota company that's creating an incredible product and is getting some well-deserved recognition! Of course, Minnesota is also known for creating many other common items we use every day. Keep scrolling to check out some other unique products that got their start here in the North Star State!
