We have all seen 10 items or less lanes in stores, usually we see it when we have 11 items, but still those lanes have their benefits... now however, I personally am not a fan of this possible new rule in Targets. This new change could be here sooner than you think.

Target self-checkout changing

Both Walmart and Target have been talking about this change. The biggest quote to make me think we might start seeing this much sooner than later. this comes from the source TODAY.

"Some stores, in some locations, may start the day off and they have associate staff cash registers open only, and as the day goes on, and associate staffing picks up, customer traffic picks up, they’ll open up self-checkout cash registers."

Everywhere is covering this story. TikTok, Reddit and many other social media sites. Some posts are even showing that this new change is in full affect. Again that is only in very select areas. According to TODAY

the company, its Walmart+ members also have the additional option to use the company's mobile "Scan & Go" feature, which allows customers to use their phone to scan items as they shop, before paying for their purchased items at a self-checkout lane.

This all started when over the last couple of months, customers had been reporting changes in available checkout lanes over social media. Senior manager of corporate communications at Walmart, Kelsey Bohl also stated,

"From time-to-time, our stores adjust the use of staffed checkouts and self-checkouts. For example, a store might start or end the day with staffed checkouts. As the number of shoppers and associate staffing increases, these stores open self-checkout registers to manage the increased customer flow. This process isn’t new,"

I just hope that they hire more people to man the no limit counters. It seems like that may be the case after this statement from Bohl,

"This decision is intended to better manage checkout availability,"

This whole idea has mixed reactions. You can see more with TODAY.com. What do you think of this?

You Could Own The Greatest House In The State Of Wisconsin

There's a home in Wisconsin that everyone in the state would call the best house on the market. The house is reasonably priced for the amount of money you could get out of it. Why does this house sound like a gold mine? Because it sits and looks directly at the heart of Title Town U.S.A., the legendary Lambeau Field, the home of the Green Bay Packers.
