Kanye West Message Shrouds The Exterior Of The Gap In Chicago
Kanye West is saying hello to Chicago in the only way he knows how to, big.
West has been doing big things for a while now so it makes sense, a message from Kanye West should cover an entire building.
So then, you shouldn't be surprised to hear a message from West has popped up on the side of the Gap on Michigan Avenue.
A message so big, it shrouds the entire building.
The message says:
Thank God.
Hi Chicago, it's Ye.
This is the Gap store
I used to shop at when
I would drive my Nissan
from the Southside.
So blessed.
I thank God and I am
so humbled at the
opportunity to serve.
I put my heart into the
color palette and every
detail. I Love Tron the original.
Do you like stuff?
I don't know what to do with
my hands. Love, YZY Yeezy.
As a fan of the original Tron, I can appreciate Kanye saying he liked "Tron the original" because the sequel is no good.
I'm pretty sure West also quoted The Simpsons too.
In case you missed it, Gap Inc. and West inked a 10-year deal to collaborate on a clothing line called Yeezy Gap.
Mr. West, who worked at a Gap in his teens, has expressed deep interest in the brand for years, declaring in a 2015 interview that he would “like to be the Steve Jobs of the Gap,” and once dreamed of being its head creative director.
Kanye West's life is coming full circle. Yeezy Gap will be introduced in the first half of 2021.
