Kim Kardashian has delayed her perfume launch after people accused her of shading Taylor Swift.

Kardashian and her younger sister Kylie Jenner were supposed to drop their collaboration scent, KKW FRAGRANCE X KYLIE, on April 26—the same day Swift is rumored to be releasing new music (or according to wild fan theories, announcing her wedding to Joe Alwyn). But it seems like the reality star wants no part in reigning feud rumors with the "Delicate" singer because now she pushed back the release date.

In a message posted to her social media, Kardashian explained the push back has to do with a delay in production. She revealed some of the perfume bottles "did not pass durability tests while on the assembly line," and said she and Jenner did not want to launch a product of poor quality, so they decided to postpone the launch.

"We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we have a new launch date!" she added.

Sure, it seems like a valid excuse, but not everyone online is buying it.

Though it may seem like Kardashian was trying to troll Swift, it could have just been a big coincidence. After all, she did reveal back in January, during an interview on Watch What Happens Live, that she's "over" her feud with the pop star. Therefore, it would be super foolish to reignite her infamous feud with Swift over a release date.
