Lin-Manuel Miranda To Play ‘Hamilton’ In Chicago
For one night only, Hamilton creator and star, Lin-Manuel Miranda will take the stage in Chicago.
If you had already bought tickets to see Hamilton, you already knew that you were going to see on of the most raved about shows in recent years.
Knowing that Miranda will eventually show up and perform at one show is like playing the lottery. Miranda explained on Twitter why he is returning to Hamilton for one night only.
Miranda is speaking about Oscar Lopez Rivera, who's 55-year prison sentence was commuted yesterday by President Obama.
According to USA Today, Rivera "was convicted of seditious conspiracy to overthrow the U.S. government in 1981 while he was a leader of the Puerto Rican independence group FALN. The group bombed buildings in the 1970s."
