Louis Vuitton Pop Up Store In Chicago Designed By Rockford Native
There are many reasons why this shop is a cool shop.
One, Louis Vuitton is one of the leading producers of shoes, watches, clothing, jewelry, and sunglasses in the world.
Two, plain and simple, pop up shops are very trendy. The urgency to get to these limited residency situations usually drive massive amounts of foot traffic for the restaurant, bar and in this case, retail shop.
Three, this orange colored Louis Vuitton pop up shop is quickly becoming one of the most Instagrammable stops in Chicago.
Four, Rockford native and worldwide fashion designer to the stars, Virgil Abloh is the mind behind the bright orange Louis Vuitton pop up shop.
It appears Abloh's FIGURES OF SPEECH exhibition at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art is the reason for the limited residency in Chicago's West Loop.
The residency would include a limited pop-up shop where Abloh’s anticipated orange low-top LV sneakers, along with a bevy of other monochromatic wares including hats, sunglasses, belts and bags would be released exclusively for the occasion.
Abloh's Louis Vuitton pop up is located at 1100 West Randolph in Chicago. Open Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, Saturday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Remember, the shop is a limited time residency and will remain open until Sunday, July 7.
