Navy Pier In Chicago Is Getting Ready To Reopen
One of the big tourist attractions in Chicago, Navy Pier, is opening soon.
I really enjoy going to Chicago and playing tourist. It's something I did as a kid with my parents, later with my friends, and now with my own family.
One of my favorite places to check out in the summer is Navy Pier. Enjoy some lunch on the lake. Listen to some live music. Take a boat ride. Ride the Ferris wheel. There are lots of fun things to go there.
With so many summer events canceling, it's good to hear that Navy Pier is getting ready to reopen.
According to the Navy Pier Facebook page...
"Navy Pier looks forward to safely welcoming guests back as it begins its phased reopening on Wednesday, June 10. As part of our initial phase, the following will be open and available to the public: Navy Pier parking garages (free access), Polk Bros Park, Peoples Energy Welcome Pavilion, North and South Dock, Pier Park (rides remain closed), East End Plaza, outdoor restaurant spaces, tour boats and select free programs. Hours of operation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and may vary per establishment."

I'll have to plan a trip there soon.
