If you've ever been to Navy Pier, there's a pretty good chance that you've taken a spin on the pier's iconic Ferris wheel...unless you're me.

I've been doing Navy Pier all wrong; only making trips in the winter time to take a walk through Winter Wonderfest and occasionally popping a squat at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville for margaritas, chips and salsa.

I've always wanted to ride on the Ferris wheel, I'm just not visiting during the right time of year; but we can change all of that this month.

According to ABC 7 Chicago, to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the centennial wheel, they're offering free rides on June 21st. On your 15 minute ride you'll tower over the trees of Grant Park, get a breathtaking view of the Buckingham fountain and see all the people looking up in wonder from down below.
