Rockford Airport Adding Nonstop Flight to Los Angeles In June

The Chicago-Rockford International Airport is about to add nonstop flights to a very popular vacation destination in the country.

I love how small the Rockford Airport is compared to O'Hare. It's way more convenient, easier to navigate, closer to home and there aren't thousands of people trying to catch flights at once.

After reading the "dream destinations from Rockford" Wish List according to residents, one of the cities on the list is about to get checked off! Can you guess where it's at?

COMING SOON! Rockford Airport Adding New Direct Flight In June

I was looking at Allegiant Airline flights for my birthday next month and saw there was a new destination getting added to the direct flights list.

Right now they offer nonstop flights to:

Ft. Myers/Punta Corda, FL
Sarasota, FL
Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL
Orlando/Sanford, FL
Las Vegas, NV
Nashville, TN
Phoenix/Mesa, AZ

What destination are they adding now? LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA!

Starting Wednesday, June 12th, 2024, residents will be able to book flights from Rockford directly to Los Angeles. How exciting! No more waiting in the long, anxiety-driven TSA lines at O'Hare.
