One Illinois Restaurant Is Home to the State’s Best Server

To the woman who waited on me in Schaumburg last weekend, you need to know how amazing you were.

Many times, people will only complain about the poor service they received and never show their appreciation for those who go above and beyond.

Today, I need to tell you about the woman at 92 Town Korean BBQ in Schaumburg.  It was a Saturday night, my friend and I went to get Korean BBQ, and when we walked in most of the tables were full.

Our waitress was literally running around like a chicken with its head cut off.  We felt so bad for her.  Luckily, we are the most patient kind of customers and totally understand that they were severely understaffed that night.

Hands down, this woman was doing the job of four people.  She apologized a few times for the wait and that she was the only one working besides the owner and a busboy.

It's not her fault food wait times were long, she can only do so much as one person!

I'm the type of person to tip you well as long as you're kind to me.  All you have to do it serve me the food I ordered, check on me for one refill, and that's it.

I can't imagine being the only server with 10+ tables to wait on.  Kudos to our server that night for doing God's work.  She busted her ass her entire shift and it really showed.  We, of course, gave her a very generous tip and left her a note on the check that said, "For being the only server, you're killin' it!"

Don't know if she saw it or how she felt when she read it, but I hope she knows her hard work didn't go unnoticed that night.  Nobody in the restaurant was rude to her and seemed to understand that she is one person, has two hands, and can only do so much with what she was given that night.
