One of the Absolute Best Cities for Christmas is in Illinois

Imagine having to drive far and wide just to find the perfect city for Christmas.

I feel bad for those people and their families who have to pile in and cruise around aimlessly until they find that one city or town that does Christmas better than anyone else.

For us, we're lucky because we have one of the best cities in America that ups their holiday game to heights only bettered by one other place in the country.

Finance Buzz calls New York City an "iconic destination" at the top of their list because "it’s the true OG of Christmas."

So what's second? You guessed it, the Second City, Chicago.

If you’re looking to celebrate Christmas in the Midwest, then Chicago is the destination for you.

Start with a visit to the authentic German Christmas market, Christkindlmarket. Then head to the zoo or botanical garden, which are both lit up at night.

You can also visit several Christmas trees around the snowy city, including the main deal at Millennium Park.

Chicago should be considered the best Christmas city but it's fine I suppose.
