We're far past anything happening this summer when it comes to large outdoor festivals.

Now, it's starting to look like the same thing that happened to the summer, is going to happen in the fall.

The word coming down is, Autumn On Parade won't happen in 2020.

The Autumn on Parade Executive Board, based on an abundance of caution, is canceling the 2020 Autumn on Parade Festival.

While we're disappointed to share this news, protecting our small community and many faithful visitors and participants is of extreme importance to us.

There was an outpouring of support from fans of the event regarding the decision the board at Autumn on Parade had to make.

It's unfortunate but the organizers are making the right choice but you have to wonder if/when things like festivals will return.

This was supposed to be the 50th anniversary of Autumn on Parade too. Organizers say they're already looking forward to planning 2021's festival, announced for October 2-3.

Why do I get the feeling in October, November, and December of 2020, we're going to end up doing the same thing we've been doing since March?
