Our New Teacher of the Week is Rockford’s Mister Rogers

Congratulations to 97ZOK's latest teacher of the week, Mr, Bruhn from Rockford Christian Schools.

Mr. Andy Bruhn from Rockford Christian Schools is the newest 97ZOK Teacher of the Week.

We surprised him at school with flowers from Broadway Florist, dessert from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a chance to decorate his classroom from Oriental Trading Company.

Mr. Bruhn was nominated by one of his students, Kaylee Kramer.

Kaylee writes:

Where do I even begin with Mr. Bruhn? He’s our middle/high school choir teacher. I met him when I was in 7th grade. I was going through a really hard time and Mr. Bruhn wrote me a little sign that said you are love, light, beauty, a joy etc. he loves us like his own children.

He prays with us often and always checks up on us if we are feeling down. His biggest influencer is Mister Rogers, he loves him and looks up to his wise words.

Mr. Bruhn always stresses that his office is always open if we need to talk. We all know if we need anything he’s the first to go to. This letter doesn’t do him justice by any means. Please consider picking him for teacher of the week!
