‘Rock ‘N’ Roll’ Is Dead; Famed Chicago McDonald’s Shutting Down
Get your Big Mac fix now! Time is running out, this might be your last chance to eat at the Rock 'n' Roll McDonald's in Chicago.
The Rock 'n' Roll McDonald's location in Chicago's River North neighborhood will close its doors for remodeling on December 30.
The plan is for the restaurant to reopen in the spring without the dated "Rock 'N' Roll" theme.
In its place will be what franchise owner Nick Karavites reported to the Chicago Tribune as an "experience of the future" with an updated look, solar panels and table service per Chicago Curbed.
