Cheers to less humidity and an outdoor sparkling wine tasting this fall in Rockford.
You know I love a good bottle of wine. Somehow in the last ten years, wine became part of my personality.
It wasn't always this way though. When I turned 21, I was much more of a fruity cocktail drinker than a wine lover. In fact, I would be really bummed when I would go to a wedding or a party that only served wine.

Not until I lived in Los Angeles for seven long months did I learn to enjoy wine. And it probably took five years after that to really love wine, when I was 30.
How do you learn to love wine? By tastings! It's sort of the same concept as going to an ice cream shop and asking for a small spoon of a few flavors before deciding what goes in your cone.
Wine is the same, you have to taste a few to find the one (or ones) you love.

Which is why I get so excited for events focused on wine tasting! The Top at the Embassy Suites in Rockford just announced their 'Toast & Taste Event' this September and it's all about sparkling wines!
Despite the fact that I love red wine over white traditionally... sparkling is my favorite by far!
