Rockford Theaters Missing Out On ‘NeverEnding Story’ Return

It's been over 30 years since The NeverEnding Story was in theaters, but it's coming back for a short run.

Released in 1984, The NeverEnding Story is a cult classic. The idea of getting to see this movie on the big screen has interested tons of fans too.

That is unless you live in Rockford. Fathom Events which usually includes Rockford's AMC Theaters is not going to show the movie during it's small run September 4 through 7.

However, there are 20 different theaters in Illinois you can actually catch the movie. But what if you don't want to drive hours to see the re-release of The NeverEnding Story?

It appears you may be out of luck. However, there might be a small sliver of hope.
