Rockford’s 815HORTS Film Festival Returns Bigger And Better For Year Three!
Rockford is making its mark on the film community by bringing 815HORTS Film Festival back for a third year and expanding to two days.
Creativity runs wild in the 815. We see it on every street with beautiful murals but there's more to the Rockford area creativity than just mural. We're home to a huge set of filmmakers too!
Two years ago 815HORTS debuted giving local filmmakers the chance to show off their creations to the community here in Rockford and beyond and this year they're getting another chance.

815HORTS: A 5HORT Film Festival is coming back this December for the third year in a row, but this time it will be a two day event, Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14.
Plus Seven Company made the announcement last week sharing the four featured guests for this year's event: Edgar Barens, Madison Egan, Colleen Griffen and Peter Hawley.
In addition to the speakers, the Sundance Film Festival Shorts Tour will also be a part of this year's 815HORTS.
