We all have that one shop, boutique or restaurant that we don't mind going a little out of our way for.

For me it was the Local Dough Cafe in Rockton. They had a beautiful space, the moistest cakes, the biggest muffins and don't get me started on their pretzel rods dipped in caramel, chocolate and peanuts. It was the best place to stop for the perfect pastry on a cheat day.

While I didn't get there too often, I'm still sad to see that they're closing their doors. According to WIFR, the owners were having a really hard time balancing family life and keeping the business open. Ultimately, family came first, as it always should, and they decided to close the business; which is now up for sale.

Thanks for everything, Local Dough Cafe; you'll be missed.
