Ryan Reynolds is 38 today. As my birthday present to him, I've ranked his best movies.Truth be told, and I'm not trying to bury the guy on his birthday, Reynolds' movies aren't all that great.

I did sift through the rubble in hopes of finding a few that I liked and maybe, just maybe you can celebrate Reynolds birthday the way he would hope, enjoying a few of his notable flicks.

Since he is 38, I have 8. It would be impossible to rank 38 good Ryan Reynolds movies.

1.Just Friends

The most quotable of Ryan Reynolds flicks.

2.Waiting

Reynolds is a server at what might be the world's worst restaurant.

3.Definitely Maybe

It's the beginning of the Reynold's rom-coms. Rachel Weisz saves the day.

4.Van Wilder

Reynolds is snarky, Kal Penn is really good, and Tara Reid is at her most tolerable.

5.Adventureland

While Reynolds played a creeper, it was interesting to see him do something different.

6.Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle

He was only in it for a minute, but he played a male nurse and the results were pretty good.

7.Safe House

This was "action movie Reynolds." No snarky one liners, just lots of action.

8.Turbo

Animated flick that was a lot better than it should have been.

Meanwhile, there are other "stars" who will turn 38 this year.
