Six of America’s Very Best Wedding Venues Are in Illinois
You begged, persuaded, or just straight up asked and got the answer you wanted, and now you're officially getting married.
Now the fun begins. Uh, "fun" for some. The process of planning a wedding could be an absolute nightmare but if you're hunting for a wedding venue while living in Illinois, you're in luck.
WHERE TO GET MARRIED IN ILLINOIS?
Brides.com highlighted places to get married in a long list featuring America's Best Wedding Venues saying they "did the research and legwork, scouring the country (and the internet) to compile a master list of wedding destinations that are our go-to recs, year after year."
I counted nearly 100 different wedding venues across America mentioned by Brides.com but there were six that stood out the most because they're right here in Illinois.
What you'll see are a bunch of different places that do way more than just host weddings.
THE BEST WEDDING VENUES IN ILLINOIS
Up at the top is the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel.
Celebration is always in the air at our painstakingly-restored 1893 Venetian Gothic hotel with its postcard views and historic venues. There’s no better Chicago backdrop to launch your life story with the one you love most.
Based on what I'm seeing, this hotel might be the best wedding venue in the midwest.
Next up is the Chicago Cultural Center.
According to the city of Chicago website, it's "a stunning venue for private weddings, both big and small."
How about a wedding at a zoo? Cafe Brauer at the Lincoln Park Zoo is also called a great wedding venue.
...the café provides a truly one-of-a-kind setting. Though situated in the heart of the metropolis, the venue offers a serene ambience where milestone moments can be celebrated.
While one of the wedding venues is zoo adjacent, the last option is at a museum, the world-famous Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago.
If dinosaurs and elephants are on your guest list, say 'I do' to hosting your event in one of our breathtaking spaces.
If you're getting married in 2022, you could do much worse than these six wedding venues.
