Small Illinois Town’s Boutique Cafe is a Hidden Gem You Need to Visit

Next time you're looking for a mini adventure, hit the road and head to Rochelle, Illinois where you'll come across the cutest boutique cafe combo, The Cypress House.

It's always a good day when you stumble into an adorable coffee shop and then you realize it's also a boutique, a hair salon and a floral shop.

What, this doesn't happen to you every day?

It doesn't happen to me either!

But it did last week and I had to share it with you.

I was out with my Good Day Stateline team trying the sampler platter from Hicks BBQ (we're looking for the Stateline's Best BBQ all this week!) when I turned around and noticed the cutest building behind me.

The Cypress House.

Just from the outdoor decor I knew I needed to go in, and when I opened the door and realized this house is an incredible combo of everything I love, I called the rest of my team inside, too.

After we were done devouring the BBQ, we started exploring The Cypress House.

When you walk it, you know you need an espresso or a specialty tea drink, and while you wait for your drink, you're invited to shop for clothes, gifts, decor, and fresh flowers.

There's even a hair salon in the back!

The Cypress House describes itself as, 'an upscale Floral. Boutique & Espresso Bar with an earthy vibe,' and I totally agree.

You can shop online, but I'd recommend actually stopping in and seeing this hidden gem in person.

The Cypress House is located at 718 10th Ave in Rochelle, Illinois and it open Monday thru Friday from 9am until 5pm as well as Saturdays from 9am until 3pm.
