Midwest City Among Snobbiest in America & It’s Not Chicago
When it comes to the snobbiest cities in America, most would think Chicago would be way up there.
I know, it’s the Midwest but Chicago is not like the rest of the cities. There are so many people you know you’re bound to run into some who are kind of sort of snob.
To help prove my point, I’m kind of snobbish, at least about movies and food (that’s about it as far as I know) and I’m also from Chicago.
I know others who are like me too from the Windy City so I have to say I was kind of surprised to see Chicago left off the list of the 20 Snobbiest Cities in the U.S. according to Housely.
Before I get there, anyone who thinks someone else is a snob is probably one themselves. Just a small FYI.
Anyway, there was only one city in the Midwest that was considered one of the 20 snobbiest in America and that’s Kansas City.
The midwest may be known for a simple and laid back way of life, but don’t let that fool you. Apparently, Kansas City’s residents have gotten a reputation for being a little on the snobby side. Although the city is one of the most affordable in the country, those calling K.C. home have no problem bragging about all of the things their city has to offer.
Fun fact, I also lived in Kansas City for a few years and I’m kind of stunned by it being on the list.
They have a lot to be proud of Kansas City and sometimes I think being overly proud can be misinterpreted as being snobbish.
What are your thoughts? Should Chicago have been included on the list of the most snobbish cities in America?
