Stateline Dessert Shop Puts a Twist on ‘Apple Donut’

Fall is the season for apple donuts, but this local dessert shop is adding a personal twist to that favorite flavor.

We all know that you can find apple cider donuts across the Stateline in September and October.

It's a battle each year to talk to your friends and come up with which orchard you think has THE BEST.'

But what if you flipped the apple donut idea around and made the donut look like an apple before you even bite into it!

That's what's happening at The Mix in Rockton.

You can make any donut flavor an apple donut when you decorate it like that!

I love a good orchard donut but if I was giving a gift to a teacher or student right now I'd pick these apple donuts over anything else.
