Illinois Halloween

With Halloween arriving tomorrow, costumes have been purchased or made, candy has been gathered, decorations are up, and the trick-or-treaters are ready to hit the streets, However, there are laws and regulations about hours and times that go along with the Halloween festivities---but does Illinois have an age limit for those going door-to-door looking for treats?

This particular candy may not be your all-time favorite, but I've never met anyone who hasn't had a bunch of these show up in their bag every Halloween.

Sure, there are lot and lots of "haunted houses" throughout the state of Illinois that are put together and decorated for spooky Halloween fun and charge admission, but what we're talking about here is a haunted house that's not only spooky during Halloween season, but all year long because...it's really haunted (according to those who know these things).

This unique and popular event in Illinois combines the works of Halloween and flea markets into one big fun and scary night.

If you're looking for family fun without the scary, there's a minor league baseball stadium in Illinois that is hosting a Halloween carnival made for everyone.

No place gets busier during the Halloween season than a certain seasonal store that jumps in and takes over locations where other businesses have failed. They're America's largest Halloween retailer by far, and they got started as a single pop-up store in a California strip mall. Now they've got over 1,500 locations, with 50 of them right here in Illinois.

I am not the biggest fan of Halloween, but this place might change my mind.
