Taylor Swift Cover Band Headed to Chicago this August
Are you ready for it? While it might not be the real deal Taylor Swift, a Swiftie still loves to jam out to their favorite Taylor tunes.
Summer is the perfect time to grab your friends and head to see your favorite band or artist live in concert.
For so many Swifties, the Eras Tour has been a dream. Either a dream because you saved up the money you needed to score tickets and actually saw Taylor play your favorite songs. Or.... a dream, because you can only see Taylor perform live in your dreams.
You haven't quite been able to foot the bill of an Eras Tour ticket, or maybe her schedule just hasn't lined up for you.

While you might feel jealous every time you see someone post a Swiftie song LIVE on social, what if instead of sulking, you made plans to see a Taylor Swift cover band for next to nothing in Chicago.
When I say 'next to nothing,' I really mean it, because the price to get into this festival is a '$10 suggested donation.' That means it's free.
But I support those suggested donations, so give if you can!
The festival I'm talking about is ironically Chicago's Taylor Street Festival. This is a yearly fest, and has nothing to do with Taylor Swift... just an actual street called Taylor, that was born way before 1989.
This year's fest includes a 'Taylor Swift Salute starring Traci Bruccoleri' on Saturday August 10 at 4 p.m.
Bruccoleri? Is this an Italian fest? Why, yes it is. In addition to the Swift Salute, you'll get The Jersey Girls, Antonio Bevaqua, the Vince Chiarelli Band (from Rockford!) and Mario Pizzoferrato.

I have no idea who Mario is, but with a name like that, he should be passing out meatballs.
Speaking of meatballs, there will be plenty for you to snack on, and pizza, and meats and cheese and wine and pasta and cannoli.
The fest runs August 9 through August 11. Good luck finding an actual address... but one of my cousins can probably get you there. The fest is on Taylor Street from Ashland to Ada in Little Italy.
