Picture this- it's date night. You and your significant other decide that tonight, you're going to try that new Mexican restaurant that you've heard everyone raving about on Facebook. You hear they have the best margaritas in town and they cover everything in queso; it sounds like perfection. Until you get there. The atmosphere is exactly what you expected- dimmed lighting, mariachi music and screaming children. Wait...what? No one mentioned that this place was a front for a daycare center.

That's obviously an exaggeration, but we've all been there. Our dining experience has been ruined by unruly children; whether its screaming and crying, kicking the back of your booth or they're just running a muck. It's unavoidable...unless you're dining at Cuchara in Houston.

After a child caused $1500 in damage to their restaurant, the owners at Cuchara decided to take matters into their own hands by handing out 'rule cards' to families that dine there.  The cards feature cartoon illustrations of well-behaved children and warns them against screaming, throwing tantrums and wandering through the establishment unsupervised.

The owners of the restaurant have gotten mixed reviews on the card but above all, they just want parents to take responsibility for their kids and want to ensure the safety of all of their guests.

Would you dine at an establishment that had rules for kids?
