I can't say I've ever had a bad time in Belvidere. I've watched some high school football, had some incredible Mexican food, got my windows tinted, (Thanks Tom!) watched some pro wrestling, there was also the Vets Roll event I was part of two summers ago, man that was cool! There's also the Summerfield Zoo which is a great place to take kids. Let the little ones feed some goats, they will never forget that. They are currently taking names to do private tours until things reopen fully in Illinois.

So to recap, Belvidere is a pretty awesome little town. Even though a certain local t.v. station wants you to believe that the cops are all bad people, I've had nothing but positive interactions with law enforcement as well.
