The Best Margaritas in the Midwest Might be Waiting for you in Chicago
While I truly believe that every season is margarita season, summer is the best time to sip on a marg and this summer you might want to take a trip to Chicago to try one of the best margs I've ever had.
Have you looked at the forecast lately?
It's gonna be hot this week with a capital H O and T. There are a few important ways to stay cool when the temps are this crazy. Drink a lot of water, hit up your local pools, stay inside with the air conditioning and last and possibly the most important for adults, drink a few margaritas.
I'm not talking about margs in a can or even margs on the rocks. 90+ temps call for one thing and one thing only, frozen margaritas.

Before this past weekend, I'd never been to Cesar's, in fact I didn't even know it existed. Now I'm ashamed to think of all of the Chicago summer days and nights I could've been sipping on a raspberry marg!
Now, here's the thing. These margaritas are magical, and could be a little dangerous. Because just one 'mega' marg and you'll be laughing with your cousin like you used to do when you were kids on your way to see Seth Meyers.
Usually ordering a frozen marg is a risk, because they're syrup-y and just taste like a frozen skittle mixed with tequila but this was not the case.
I wasn't even sure if I'd like the margarita when it was served to me, because the yellow middle color confused me, but once I mixed the raspberries in, it was summer perfection.

Just saying... if you happen to take a trip to Chicago this summer, don't skip Cesar's.
The salad was good to, but the marg it why it's going on my 'every summer from now on, list.'
