The Best Worst April Fools’ Day Facebook Prank [PHOTO]

Meet Baxter, he's my cousin's dog and is adorable. He was perfectly named after Baxter the dog from Anchorman, and he is just as entertaining as the Hollywood puppy.

Baxter has a pretty big Facebook and Instragram following, which is why yesterday, when my cousin posted a photo on Facebook so many people were upset. Pete posted a pictures of Baxter that looked as if he no longer had his back two legs.

Peter!!! That is not nice. My heart, and I'm sure lots of hearts around America skipped a beat when we first saw the post.

I quickly realized that it was April Fools' Day and was able to breathe again, and thus my cousin gets the award for Best WORST April Fools' Day Prank. Don't do it again.

The craziest part? This picture was not photoshopped. Peter said he took this picture a while ago, realized it looked like he lost his legs and had been saving it for April Fools.

Thanks for all the warm wishes. Baxter is doing great on his front two! He's still the same happy guy. He's already started to figure out how to get around like he used to.
