With Rick, Carl and Michonne apparently safe and holed up in an empty house, the creators of "The Walking Dead" are using this week to get us caught up with the rest of the survivors.

The group is split, and not just in two, more like 4-5 different mini-groups all struggling to survive after the events of the prison left them without a home and now on the road and desperate.

Daryl and Beth have been separated from the group. Then there's Tyrese, Lizzie, Mika and SURPRISE, baby Judith!  I didn't see that coming. The reveal of Tyrese holding Judith was one of the better moments in this week's show. Just guessing, but I bet fan reaction was pretty crazy. Not as crazy as Carol re-appearing. She's back, and Tyrese still has no idea that she was the one behind the murder of his sick girlfriend at the prison. I have a feeling that Carol isn't the one who did the killing, it's starting to look like little Lizzie has fallen down the proverbial "rabbit hole" and might be the person Carol was covering the for all along.

We also get caught up with one of my favorite characters of "The Walking Dead," Maggie.  She is now with Sasha and Bob, and her Glenn is nowhere to be found. Maggie is determined to find Glenn leading them to the bus that she thought Glenn was on when they scurried out of the prison. It gets better for Maggie, Bob and Sasha.  The bus is now filled with walkers and Maggie wants to makes sure Glenn isn't one of them. A zombie kill fest ensues. After a massive walker body count, we are left unsure if one of the walkers is in fact Glenn.

Then there's Glenn. Poor Glenn. We find Glenn alone and still in the prison. But hey, there's plenty of walkers around to make his life miserable. It appears that Glenn is ready to give up when he sees a picture of Maggie in his cell at the prison and decides to give it a shot. He grabs the riot gear they used when they cleaned out the prison earlier in Season 3 and makes like a fullback until he sees Tara. Tara? Remember her? She's The Governor's girlfriend sister...and she is sitting locked in a cage. Just sitting there. So Glenn decides to stop and pick her up. They exchange some small talk and he convinces her to help find Maggie. More zombie deaths occur and Glenn gets hurt and what appears to be a military truck pulls up. It's Abraham, Eugene and Rosita. If you read the comics, I know that you were excited for that!

I think this might have been the final time we see the prison. With a few new characters in the mix and what could be a child psychopath amongst them, the next few weeks of "The Walking Dead" should be pretty interesting.
