Running along with a sensible diet helped me lose weight...a lot of weight. I also found out I actually enjoyed running. I started getting so in to it that I ran a 1/2 marathon...and survived. I also run 5 and 10k's for fun. Sounds crazy, but I enjoy the competition and the challenge. There are days though when you hate it.  Buzzfeed put together a video of our love/hate relationship with running.  If you've ever been in a road race I'm sure you'd agree with most of these.  Check it out.
