There’s a Bacon Fest in Rockford This Month and We’re Pretty Excited About It

Did someone say bacon?

Any day is a good day for bacon news.

Yesterday I was on Facebook and I saw something about a bacon fest. I thought, oh man, another delicious festival that's probably in Chicago or something.

To my pleasant surprise, the festival is in Rockford!

And soon - the bacon party is November 16.

Bacon Fest is happening at Prairie Street Brewing Company, Thursday November 16 from 7-9 p.m.

Unless, of course, you are a Bacon Fest VIP, then the smokiness starts at 5.

So here's the deal. Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the door which includes bacon items for you to taste.

There's also a VIP pack which gives you even more bacon-ness and a t-shirt.

Plus, there's a 1/2 hog raffle, where they are literally raffling off half of a pig.
